Troy exists to create spaces where every individual feels seen, valued and able to belong. As a freelance Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging Specialist, children’s author, lecturer, tutor and keynote speaker, he brings a rare blend of educational leadership, creative storytelling and lived experience to the organisations he supports.

Beginning his career in primary education, Troy has since built a rich portfolio across primary, secondary and Further Education. As a former Headteacher, Executive Headteacher and SENDCO, he understands the realities of school leadership and the importance of inclusive provision at every level. He now works with senior leaders, middle leaders and early‑career professionals to help them recognise their influence and deepen their impact on the people they serve.

Troy has partnered with a wide range of education providers—including Leicester & Leicestershire SCITT, Nottingham University, KAPLAN International and Lancaster University—as well as multinational organisations such as Amazon, Capital One Bank and VF Corporation. His work empowers colleagues and students to embrace their identities and feel confident in their own sense of belonging.

Using his inclusive picture books as a catalyst, Troy demonstrates the power of storytelling to open meaningful conversations. Alongside his training programmes, he delivers practical workshops to students of all ages across the UK and internationally.

He collaborates with schools, trusts, colleges, charities and global companies to build environments where stakeholders can truly belong. His interactive, engaging sessions consistently inspire participants to share their journeys and feel empowered to grow, achieve and lead with authenticity.
