The Girls' Network

The Girls’ Network inspires and empowers girls from the least advantaged communities through mentoring and workshops that build confidence and belief in a brighter future. They connect girls aged 14–19 with a mentor and a network of professional female role models, ensuring that no girl’s future is limited by her background, gender, or parental income. Working with schools across the South, London, the Midlands, the North East, and the North West, they support over 1,000 girls each year.

Through mentoring and workshops, girls are supported to explore their ambitions, develop key skills, and access new opportunities. At the end of the programme, mentees are invited to become ambassadors of The Girls’ Network, gaining continued access to support, opportunities, and a platform to have their voices heard.

Volunteer mentors play a vital role in helping girls grow in confidence and realise their potential, with teachers often reporting improved attendance, greater engagement, and stronger academic outcomes. This work is made possible by the support of partners, trusts, and foundations who share the organisation’s mission and are committed to helping create a future where all young women can reach their full potential without limits.
