Teach for Tomorrow

We believe in the power and potential of educators to inspire and transform the lives of young people by unlocking new levels of understanding, awareness and community mindedness so they are equipped to create a better future for everyone.

Whether polarised views, identity-based hatred or the undermining of democracy, extremist content is reaching young people at unprecedented speed. However, nearly two-thirds of teachers admit they side-step challenging classroom discussions because they lack the confidence and tools to handle them sensitively. Being in a Teach for Tomorrow classroom empowers young people to engage in these challenging conversations and in doing so practise the habits that sustain a healthy democracy: critical thinking, empathy and informed action.

To support educators and educational settings, we provide a wide range of training, materials, resources and teaching ideas for use in the classroom, including:

  • In-person or online CPD workshops, seminars, webinars and online courses focused on equity and inclusion, and navigating challenging conversations and topics in the classroom.
  • Tailored inset training for schools / school groups – whole staff and faculty/department options.
  • Resources and materials linked to core curriculum areas in History, English, RS and Citizenship, created with input from our teacher network.
  • Current Events responses – to support teachers with having conversations about potentially challenging events with students.
  • Ready to deliver assemblies and personal development days.
  • Guides and resources for PSHE, tutor time and navigating challenging conversations.

“These lessons make a real, tangible difference. I see my students questioning each other, challenging each other, holding one another to account in professional, emotionally intelligent, and mature ways. And I see this all unfolding as the lessons develop.” Deputy Head Teacher
