Jermaine Coleman

Coaching Bio
Jermaine is a coach who believes real change starts with being heard. He creates space for people to think out loud, slow things down, and notice what they might usually rush past. He listens carefully, then asks thoughtful, sometimes challenging questions that help people see beyond their normal perspectives. His approach isn’t about models, jargon, or having the right answers; it’s about curiosity, honesty, and practical insight. He works best with people who are willing to reflect, be stretched, and explore what’s really driving their choices, so they can move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Coaching Experience
He brings a wealth of coaching experience shaped by elite sport and education. A former professional athlete and international sports coach, he understands performance under pressure and what it takes to grow others. Alongside this, he has spent over 20 years in education, progressing from PE teacher to his current role as Vice Principal. Having worked with a wide range of personalities, he focuses on coaching individuals to recognise their strengths, challenge their thinking, and perform at their best in demanding environments.
Career Experience
His career spans elite sport and inner‑city education, grounded in a strong coaching ethos. A former professional athlete and international sports coach, he has coached at World Cup level, developing high performance in demanding environments. Alongside this, he has worked for over 20 years in education across four inner London secondary schools, progressing from PE teacher to Vice Principal. He has also worked closely with the Youth Sport Trust, supporting leadership, wellbeing, and development through sport. Experienced in working with diverse personalities, he uses listening, challenge, and thoughtful questioning to help individuals see beyond familiar perspectives and perform at their best.
