One Full Round

One Full Round for Teachers exists because infertility does not stop at the school gates, yet too many teachers face fertility treatment without workplace support. The campaign was created to address the absence of funded fertility leave in UK schools and to ensure educators undergoing IVF are treated with dignity, compassion, and fairness.

We raise awareness, amplify teachers’ voices, and campaign for every teacher to receive funded leave for at least one full round of IVF. Fertility treatment is physically demanding, emotionally draining, and too often endured in silence.

A key part of our work is engaging directly with academy trusts and school employers to help them develop more fertility-friendly policies. We support leaders in recognising fertility treatment as an equality and wellbeing issue, and encourage schools to create inclusive environments where staff do not have to choose between their career and their chance of parenthood.

Our impact lies in making infertility visible in education and driving meaningful policy change across the profession.

One Full Round for Teachers is more than a campaign — it is a movement for reproductive justice, workplace compassion, and the belief that teachers deserve the same opportunity to build a family as anyone else.
