Including Care-Experienced Children in the Curriculum Training
Including Care-Experienced Children in the Curriculum Training
Our Training Offer
We support educators in developing their consciousness, confidence and competence regarding care experienced learners.
This session explores how schools can centre the needs, voices and lived experiences of care-experienced children within an inclusive and thoughtfully designed curriculum.
We look closely at the diversity of family structures – adoption, foster care, kinship care and special guardianship – and how schools can work in partnership with parents and carers without making assumptions about backgrounds, relationships or home contexts.
We can deliver face to face and virtually, for twilights, INSETs and conferences.
Our Training Session Includes
- Centring the needs and lived experiences of care-experienced children within an inclusive curriculum Understanding diverse family structures, including adoption, foster care, kinship care and special guardianship
- Working effectively with parents, carers and guardians without making assumptions about home contexts

Karen Jessop, Teacher
A truly captivating session where marginalised groups no longer hide in the shadows awaiting recognition and belonging. They are brought to light and given the voice they so deserve.
